Julie Strebler

Julie Strebler has been a choral music educator for over twenty years. At Coventry schools, she’s taught grades 5-12, including tenor-bass, treble, and mixed ensembles, music theory, and a high school Eurhythmics-based general music class. Her choirs have received superior ratings at the state level of OMEA Large Group Adjudicated Event, class AA-C. She spent two years directing the Women’s Choir at Ashland University where she also teaches choral methods. Julie is as an OMEA adjudicator, served on the OCDA board as the Elementary/Intermediate School Choral Festival chair, and also enjoys working with the Cleveland Institute of Music Preparatory Program where she directs the Academy Chorus and accompanies the youth choirs. She is thrilled to be back singing with the Cleveland Chamber Choir! Julie received her undergraduate degree in Music Education from Ashland University and holds a Masters of Music Education from Kent State University.
