A concert featuring the rich, resplendent polyphony of Renaissance France.
La Fleur de la Renaissance ⚜️
Singers are beginning to prepare for our May 8 & 9 concert, featuring rich, resplendent polyphony, with chansons, motets, and mass movements from Renaissance France. The concert is built around a pastiche mass made up of movements from several different composers’ L’Homme armé mass settings, interwoven with works by Josquin des Prez, Clément Janequin, Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, and more.
Check out this playlist, curated by Artistic Director Gregory Ristow, of the concert’s music! Available on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Music.

Cleveland Chamber Choir Included in Chorus America Article
Executive Director Kira McGirr was recently interviewed by Chorus America (the national organization for professional and community choirs) for an article on how choruses have reshaped their health and wellness practices following the COVID-19 pandemic. This article was published in the most recent nationally distributed issue of “The Voice,” and included photos of the choir!
Everyone is a little better now at analyzing their own symptoms. We’re also more aware of what is out there…We trust singers to monitor their own health and act accordingly…If you are ill with something that appears to be contagious, a Zoom rehearsal is always an option. Our artistic director is great about always having the capacity to be able to [use] Zoom in a rehearsal.
