Rejoice in the spirit of Holidays Old & New with timeless holiday music in both traditional and contemporary arrangements. This program featured the works of some of the most renowned composers in history, including Ockeghem, Victoria, and H. Praetorius, followed by modern compositions on the same texts. Two world premieres of Hanukkah music were given, with the commissioning of the second piece from Corey K. Rubin’s eventual triptych, Mi Yimalel, and Andrew Rindfleisch’s Menorah Blessings.
