MADNESS & MELANCHOLY: CAMERATA SERIES
March 25, 2026
A program that promises to arouse the spirits of even the most lethargic of souls.
When the passions of our subconscious pour out into daily life, the results are dramatic indeed.
In Madness & Melancholy, singers from Cleveland Chamber Choir bring us a program of baroque music that promises to arouse the spirits of even the most lethargic of souls. The selections include excerpts from Henry Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, mad songs, Italian and French laments and more. With Dominic Aragon, baritone; Abigail Hakel-Garcia, soprano and violin; Adrian Murillo, theorbo; Kira McGirr, contralto; and Gregory Ristow, harpsichord.
Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 6:00pm at the Cleveland Museum of Art
