Cade McBride

BASS

Cade McBride, bass, is originally from the Olympia, Washington region, but is currently a student at the Oberlin Conservatory. He is studying classical trombone performance with John Gruber while also grabbing any singing opportunities that come his way. Cade has been singing bass since high school and was very fortunate to be a soloist with the Student Orchestras of Greater Olympia. Cade has also performed with the Olympia Symphony Orchestra, the Akron Symphony Chorus, the Olympia Jazz Senators, the SPSCC Symphony Orchestra, Harlequin Productions in Olympia, and now the Cleveland Chamber Choir. Cade is also an experienced arranger and orchestrator, with commissions from the Olympia Symphony Orchestra, the Grey Harbors Symphony, the Student Orchestras of Greater Olympia, the Evergreen Brass Quintet, the Pacific Lutheran University Trombone Choir, and the Oberlin Brass Ensemble.

Fun Fact

When Cade isn’t in the practice room or with his friends, sometimes you’ll catch him at the local disc golf course striving to throw under par.
