Dae Williams
TENOR
DaQuan (Dae) Williams is a multidisciplinary artist and social media specialist who is excited to join the Cleveland Chamber Choir. Growing up in Chicago, IL, Dae was exposed to a wide variety of music, and has experience singing in many different styles, from baroque choral music to contemporary gospel to being a lead singer on PBS’s first cooking show for kids.
Dae received a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Studies and Anthropology from Oberlin College & Conservatory in 2020, primarily focusing his studies in the fields of choral conducting, music education, and ethnomusicology. For his senior capstone, Dae wrote a media ethnography about the popularization of virtual choirs in the wake of COVID-19.
