David McHenry

BASS

David has been an active presence in the Cleveland music scene for over 15 years, and his performance experience encompasses a wide variety of venues. As a guitarist and vocalist with the nationally acclaimed rock band Herzog, he has toured extensively and recorded six albums of original music. He is also currently active as a bassist in the indie-rock band Extra Medium Pony and as a guitarist and vocalist in the George Martins, a prominent Cleveland-based band dedicated to performing the music of the Beatles. In addition to performing with his bands, David also maintains an active life as a freelance musician. He has performed as a multi-instrumentalist in pit orchestras for numerous professional, college, and community theater shows, including many in Cleveland’s own Playhouse Square; recent highlights include the Broadway National Tours of Tina: The Tina Turner Musical (2023), Back to the Future (2024), and MJ: The Musical (2024) .While studying classical guitar performance at Baldwin-Wallace University, David also performed with a diverse array of choral ensembles including the early music ensemble, the motet choir, and the Bach Festival chorus. Currently he sings professionally as section leader at Church of the Savior United Methodist Church.
