Basso Profundo Kelly Carney got a late start to serious singing, only beginning voice study in 2018 at the age of 58, with Christina Fleming. He has since sung with the Charlottesville Opera, and performed in the role of Mr. Price in a regional theater production of Kinky Boots. This October’s performance with the Cleveland Chamber Choir will be his fifth performance of Rachmaninoff’s All-Night Vigil, all since 2022.
