Leslie Frye

Leslie Frye, mezzo-soprano and pianist, hails from Akron, Ohio, and her experience is wide-ranging. Frye is a core musician of thirteen years with Grammy Award-winning Baroque ensemble, Apollo’s Fire. She has sung with Quire Cleveland, Singers Companye, Gaudium, Temple Israel HHD Choir and The Publick Musick (New York). She has enjoyed numerous early music, classical, and jazz projects. An accomplished and devoted music educator, she loves teaching voice, piano, music theory and composition to students of all ages. Leslie’s life is enriched by her husband, Gregory, and their sons, Jasper and Harrison.
